At our local tourney this weekend, Danielle and her parents stopped by to watch a 23U team play. The team has 5 UW players, so she came to check it out and greet local fans. Totally a non-advertised thing.
Anyway, I'm off inbetween games, wearing my WSU jacket and hat. Danielle's dad Russ spots me as they're leaving the complex and tries to get me to have Danielle sign my WSU hat. We all laughed, but I wasn't too game on having the UW stud deface my WSU hat with her sharpie.
So I grabbed a new tournament ball and had her sign it instead.
Aah good times, and the benefit of having the best team in the country right here.
