Just curious (for Tim C, or anyone else in the know)

Is it another evaluation year, for the AAA fill-ins? Looking at this weekend's box scores, noticed there were approximately half of them up, and figured it couldn't all be, injuries and/or vacations.

And, then, having had the opportunity to see Mike Muchlinski's PCL crew the entire home opening series here in Las Vegas, and the sleeve patches the three guys had on their plate shirts, I'm more curious, than anything else, as to who close to MLB/MiLB, passed away recently. From the looks of it, the initials appeared to be C.C. My first thought was IL umpire Chris Conroy, but, upon further inspection, I saw him on the IL roster, so, I don't think it was him. The company I'm scoring the games for, has behind the plate seats, so, we get to see all of the action close up (we really have to, considering what we're doing, for a confidential client, even to us scorers).
