I almost feel stupid for asking this.
When a referee is declaring possesion of the ball, Which way does he point?
Again I have only officiated in Rec league and ive seen them do both lol. So I have to ask the pros.


Ex. After K kicks off the ball both K and R fall on the ball at almost simultaneous times. The Referee rushes over and clears everyone off the ball and rules that it is R's ball. Which way does he point?
