Smoothly, uneventful, even boring, unfortunately. Very little of interest for discussion in my matches this spring. Most have been 3-0 blowouts with no interesting plays (from a rule perspective). I'm getting a lot better at recognizing player positions for the receiving team at the serve. Still not tracking the back row during the play.
Mildly interesting event from yesterday. The JV team came onto the floor for the first set with
two players wearing Libero jerseys -- neither of which was the listed Libero. The actual Libero wore a jersey that contrasted with both the "regular" JV jerseys and the two "Libero" jerseys. My R2 (actually the assignor for my spring season) told the coach that would not be acceptable in a Varsity match and then we just ignored it and played.
