I really don't care. Hate the term. It infers moving in the wrong or opposite direction.

The term was first introduced to my vocabulary when it was used as a description of what the umpires did once a runner reached 2B. PU covered the plate, BU3 covered 3B and BU1 had 2B & 1B. IOW, there was no rotation at all.

Somewhere along the way, the term went from "counter-rotation" to a "counter-rotated position". Just part of my opposition to the sheeple and their buzz words.
