Not kidding. I've got an HD TV in the same room as the computer and it is not even close...even when ckicking the HQ button. The computer set to 1600x1200 on an 20" LCD monitor with DVI input and on a 20Mbps connection.

CBS has indicated that MMOD is "broadcasting" the HQ (note HQ, not HD) content at about 1.5Mbps where the "Standard Qaulity" is about 0.5Mbps. The MMOD HQ may look decent enough in a small window or monitor and it may look better than most web broadcasts but it is approximate VHS quality. It is certainly less than even standard DVD quality.

Note that while a lot of people have "broadband", what most have is still not nearly good enough to stream true HD video.
