We do have the authority to vary with communication (ie, use an NCAA mechanic if the crew knows it), but are not teaching or directing anything by ASA. Yes, we still give out the NFHS Umpire Manual; we have talked about doing away with that expense, but feel it has quality educational material aside from the mechanics we aren't using.

Makes sense to me and I wasn't doubting your word, just wanted to make sure that we are using ASA mechanics across the board.
I like it, not that my opinion matters, but I like simplicity and Ernie's logic is sound.
