To expensive, and too small. I just use a few incandescent bulbs, with dome shaped reflectors, for the heat, my basement is very cold, until the seeds germinate. After they germinate, and start to grow, I switch to a few fluorescent shop lights, to provide a lot of inexpensive light. Parsley was planted two weeks ago, and they are already sprouting. Tomatoes get planted in two more weeks, and cucumbers in six more weeks. They should all be ready to go in the ground, in my garden, here in Central Connecticut, by May 15.
