Had this situation recently...
BV - Early in 2nd Q, home HC standing, in a dramatic overt manner, "Just because they are ranked (V Team #6 in state) doesn't mean you have to guarantee they will win!"
Whack, sit down coach.
No regrets on my behalf, rest of game continues without incident (from the HC.)
