Be careful when using legal definitions to support your point. When a person of diminished capacity that cannot fulfill the requirements of a "reasonable and prudent person" is involved, the legal requirement changes accordingly. This actually would support the opposing argument. This would mean that a player with diminished capacity (either ability or out of position) would not be able to make the play with ordinary effort, and, by definition, would cancel the infield fly rule. Are you sure this is what you meant?
