Had this exactly situation at a JVB tournament a few years back. Coach gets a "T" from me. Won't sit down . . . and stands during FT's for T. Finally sits down as we conduct TI. A1 goes down, passes to A2, who gets fouled by B2 in the lane. Hard foul too. I make the call. Coach started yelling how it was a horrible call, etc., etc. I walk over, report the call, and remind coach he is to coach his kids and nothing more.
I gave him a chance to remain in the game, but he started in again. Then he looked at me and said, "What are you going to do? You aren't going to do anything."
I calmly step back, making a well-formed T with my hands. "Coach of Red has been ejected." I asked the coach, "do you have an assistant?" (3-times). He refused to respond. I blow on the whistle and declare the game a forfeit and tell official scorer to make the score 2-0 in the book. He was winning 27-19!! There was about 5 minutes left in the 3rd Period at the time.
Game Over. I turned around and walked off the floor. He started to come after me, but the AD from the tournament host school grabbed him.
He served a 1-game suspension, was placed on probation for a year, and received a public reprimand. (And in Texas, if they are not employed by the school district, they are not allowed to coach or sponsor any extra-curricular activity, such as athletics. Though there are a very limited # of exceptions (e.g., retire/volunteer)).
