Green high school team brings 74 players to its away game.
Pregame warmup is remeniscent of the old "Zulu" movie ( with, I am sure, the same intended effect ). The blue team gets introduced and comes tearing through the usual paper banner, to find the green team, walking slowly 2 by 2, blocking the blue team's access to it's own bench on the home side of the field. The blue team has to wait until the entire parade goes by before they can get to their bench and coaches.

I am sure this was an intimidation tactic, and felt the slow parade to be inflammatory; professional wrestling type stuff, completely inappropriate at a high school sporting event.

Had a fight ensued before the start of the game, who has jurisdiction, the referees, the school, the police? Should the refs have directed the green team to their side of the field by a less inflammatory route? Are high school teams allowed any type of macho pregame posturing they care to pursue?
