Eight Last Night-In a varsity doubleheader!
I've been around the block for a few years now and had games where technical foul(s) have been called but last night was ridiculous.In the varsity boys game we had seven-that's right-seven technicals called.My team was the visitors on this occassion!Here is how they broke down:
Home team-
2 Technicals for arguing on the Head Coach! (He is promptly ejected with about 3:00 minutes to go in the 4'th quarter!)
2 Technicals just before the half (One for hanging on the rim another for an altercation that we couldn't see at the table!)
Each of the players that picked up a technical also picked up their second and were promptly ejected by rule! The ejected home coach and his ejected players are suspended by section rule from the team's next game.
Visiting Team-
1 Technical for slapping at the backboard during quarter #2!
Also, in the varsity girls game we had one technical called on the home assistant coach for arguing an over the back call! On the night we had 8 technical fouls,2 players, and 1 coach ejected.
