Zooch, please forgive me for being so blunt, but that 50 question test is written for new applicants. It's supposed to be EASY enough for a new recruit to pass (after taking a few classes). If only 23% of your membership can get 44 out of those 50 questions correct -- with an open book and a week to work on it -- frankly that's pathetic.
Your board needs to seriously re-evaluate its training and/or "continuing education" for its members.
