Mark... It has been a while since I ref. basketball but doing rec. ball is an excellent way to get ready for the bigger leagues. However, the coaches in rec. ball are coaches that want a name for themselves. They try to influence you how great they are in coaching. But rec. ball is rec. ball. It is supposed to a low key league for the kids. I do just high school and college football as a white hat and some times you get the same from freshman coaches. One game a few years back, a freshman coach did the same thing, complaining about my partner and my partner is a Pac-Ten official. So you get them all some times.......Larry Gonski
