Position order above is: HP, 1B, 2B, 3B, LF, RF

The World Series Umpires will come from the group above.

The ALCS and NLCS will include 12 different total umpires.

The Office of the Commissioner shall determine the initial position of each umpire in such series.

Umpires may not work back to back special events (excluding the All-Star Game) and an umpire shall not work consecutive World Series.

There will be a total of 36 MLBU out of 68 MLBU working playoff assignments.
Armed with all of this information, I can now continue my day at work with the fullest confidence that if I am asked by my co-workers as to who will be umpiring the post season, I will be able to answer them with the utmost of intelligence.

Sigh............ some people have no lives at all!
