Not trying to be rude at all, Brad. I'm providing information to someone about a person whom he seems to desire to use as a model for his officiating.
The central issue is not the mistake of having an inadvertant whistle, but rather
the fact that he refused to own up to it. Dixon denied blowing the whistle on the play until video/audio evidence came out which unequivocally showed that he did.
It is an integrity issue. Thus I wanted limeyref to be aware of this, so that he could make a decision about whether or not this is a person after whom he wishes to pattern his game.
