Yes... the majority are sports officials.
So? What does that have to do with his question?
Anyway, maybe he wants to know how many refs have played and for how long.
I played youth leagues and high school level soccer.
Years later I decided officiating was some good exercise while still being around a game that technically I can no longer "competetively" play.
So, I became a ref.
