...the first game of a dh is a forfeit, my partner and I then repair to his place nearby to sit on his porch and gab for an hour, then come back to do game 2..which turns out to be a one hour (ASA Modified A) five inning run rule game - with the next two umps showing up (a 5 game day for this league) ON TIME...for a change..


you never, EVER get that forfeit in the second game....
