It would be interesting to see this experiment repeated in another culture. My understanding is that in China, for instance, the assignment of colors to attributes is very different. Here in the west red is obviously associated with aggression or danger. In China, as I understand it, red symbolizes good fortune. So would the outcome be similar? If this supposed bias toward red is cultural, would it show differently in cultures that assigned different attributes to its colors?
