I have both and my answer depends...
upon what your needs are. The GD pants can be thrown in the washer and dryer without a second thought. GD pants are also very comfortable around the waist. I have never had to iron them and they look fine.
Honig's poly-wools must be drycleaned most of the time to keep them looking their best. You can wash them in cold water and hang dry then iron them if you wish. When dry cleaned and correctly fitted and hemmed they are the nicest looking pants. They are my favorites but the others have their purpose.
I have the poly-wools for my college games and sometimes I wear them when working a HS game with a partner who is also in my college association to match if he wishes to wear them as well. The GD's I wear a lot in the summer doing travel ball tourneys as my regular partner is my son and he also has GD pants. We match up quite well. Only one of my HS partners and none of my college partners have the GD pants.
So, as I said earlier, it depends......
