Actually, you said this wasnt an appeal play.
YOu are a pathetic umpire if that is true.
You are asking a question that is admittedly tough and in fact covered at schools and clinics.. and what is covered at clinics may not jive up 100% with the exact wording of the rule...
But appeal play is a no brainer Umpire 101.
