In FIBA rules you cannot by rule assess a T to an assistant. the head coach (by your description) should of be assessed 2 Bench T's still leaving him 1 more Bench or Direct before the HC is ejected. Then the AC is fair game becasue he then becomes the HC.

As Nevada alludes to but never actually says, this is not the case in the US (Fed). If an Assistant gets stupid, he gets a direct T. The HC is also assessed an indirect T in this situation. Two directs, or a total of three directs and indirects is an ejection.
