It happened at a game when I was in HS. Visiting team's supporters were known as the Green Berets (school colors were green and white, and they all wore berets). Part way through the game, they get a little out of control and are escorted out. I don't recall if the game was stopped or not. But all of the rest of us were busy chanting, "Go, go, G. I. Joe." repeatedly as they filed out.
