I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers, I'm just not a very imaginative guy. But I hope you can see that someone claiming to be in the slot and hit with an outside pitch is a) not in the slot (not the case here) b) has a very big head (physically--your head would have to be over 18" wide--likely not the case here) or c) calling a pitch outside because it missed the spot (way inside). I imagined only a) and b) when when I first read your post , not c). Please accept my apology for appearing frivolous.
