You guys are making WAAAAAY too much of this. No self-respecting kid over 10 would use one of these things.
It comes in blue and pink. The lighting effect is only in the pocket and only when hit by the ball. You know... AFTER the batter has swung! And, it can be turned off.
It is marketed for T-ball players. So some 10 year old thinks it is cute. Big deal.
