21 years later!

I was watching a couple of NCAA Championship basketball games on T.V. from the 1980's era. Indiana v Syracuse and Kansas v Oklahoma. A couple of things were done in the 3 person mechanic and how the games were played that is different now. For example;

(1) the center official admin all free-throws
(2) more then four defensive players were allow in the lane spaces during FT's
(3) lead official stood pretty much in the paint; rotated ONLY when necessary.

My questions are:

(a) when (what year) did the lead start admin FT's.
(b) when (what year) did it change to the current rule. Def no more than four.
(c) when (what year) did the collared shirt became obsolete.
(d) when (what year) the shot clock changed from 45 sec to 35

Maybe an official who worked back in those years can shed some light.

Thanks!!
