Player A1 looking to pass the ball, falls to the floor. Traveling.

Now, A1 dives for a loose ball and slides after gaining control. A1 is in a position either on his/her back or stomach. This is not traveling.

Where does the line get drawn between 'jumping to catch' and 'diving for'?
Can player A1 dive/jump horizontally, steal a pass, and fall to the floor?
If the ball is controlled before hitting the floor, it's traveling. If the ball is not controlled until the player is on the floor, it's not traveling. Pretty straight-forward, really.
