I agree for the most part, though I finally heard him make at least a semi-intelligent comment. They were talking about a foul call (that I agree was a "close" call - it was a foul on a dunk put-back, can't remember the game now) and after calling it a terrible call, he at least said something along the lines of, "but that's the way it goes, there are a lot of terrific officials out there and they'll tell you that none of them has ever called a perfect game."
It was somewhat of a "officiating is a human endeavor and never without mistakes" comment, which is better than just saying "they suck."
That said, it is obvious he's gonna be all over officials the rest of the way.
