Would they ever score?
Worked a girls middle school tournament 8th grade semi-final this morning. End of Q1, Blue 2, White 0. No, I am not kidding. Halftime score Blue 6, White 2. End of Q3, Blue 10, White 6 and the final was Blue 14, White 6. White didn't score in the first or fourth quarters. It wasn't as if they both were setting up each time. There were plenty of breakaways and quick shots. Neither team hit a free throw the entire game and each team had about 10 or 12 attempts. No hassles from either bench. I think the coaches were just in shock. BTW - I had the blue team the day before and they scored 45.
At the end of the game, I looked around expecting to see Rod Serling standing there smiling.
As I walked out with my partner, he said that was the lowest scoring game he's worked in his 15 year career including games in his driveway.
