Mmmmm, well, turning the other cheek is fine, as is bending
like a young willow to the storm, but somehow I gotta think
if a pitcher throws a broken bat head at you and takes a
few steps in your direction you've got to at least make him
stop and take a few steps backwards. Anyway, I think if
Piazza had played it differently this would have been an
issue for 2, 3 days then gone away. IMO.
Bat head? What bat head? He thought he was throwing the ball -- even Roger said so. I have always been a Yankee fan and I always will be, but he should have been tossed from that game -- World Series or not. He should have been tossed.
