I don't let coaches address opponents unless it's to positively acknowledge a good play. The V coach is getting a talking to from me on this one, to not address the other team again. Next time is a T. And yes, I would go directly to a T in some cases, but not this one. I would also make sure to not have my personal feelings of knowing this fine player for 17 years get in the way.
