Actually, I'm surprised this, or worse, doesn't happen more often. Sooooo many small kids run around (and around) totally unsupervised. Last night at rec games a little boy approximately age 3 was running back and forth between his mother and grandmother, seated on opposite sides of the gym. 11 and 12 year old boys were playing, and this just struck me as dangerous. After about the 3rd or 4th trip, I finally told grandma, "Look, he needs to get one place or the other and stay there before somebody lands on top of him." She said not a word, but got up and followed the little boy back across the gym and they both stayed there.
I wondered later if I had overstepped my bounds, but seeing this video makes me feel more comfortable with my decision.
