ASA Umpire Insurance - F.Y.I.
For those of you who have already seen the test, you may have noticed under the benefits section, once again the $10mil liability insurance is listed.
This may be a misprint as the insurance coverage had dropped to $5mil a few years ago. It has been brought to the attention of ASA and is presently being researched.
Just wanted you to know so that if it is raised in a clinic or meeting, you are not putting out what could be incorrect information.
OTOH, if it did indeed go back to $10mil (which I doubt), great!
