I would like to express the sympathies from me and from all Italian umpires for the sad passing of Merle Butler.
Merle Butler was UIC of several ISF Tournaments played in Europe during last decennial and over. Last one was in Trieste, Europe.Africa Ol. Qualifier, June 2007. Italian umpires and myself personally will miss Merle as a friend and UIC.
Condolences to Merle's family and dears.
