Thanks. Just letting the frustration pound the rule into my head.
As I'm making the call, the rule about the ball becoming dead on a team-control foul was the one in my head.
The rule about there being no team control during a try for goal didn't enter my head until I was walking in the house after the game. Which is when I kicked myself.
