You're ruining the joke. I've been spreading the story that Tim Higgins and John Clougherty are good friends who worked the 1988 NCAA championship game together and each named their sons for each other. Now both of those sons are officiating D1 basketball.
I've got some people believing this.
The truth is that Tim Higgins has no sons, but three daughters. Tim Clougherty really is John Clougherty's son. The two fathers did work the 1988 Final.
