Above is the box score for today's NCAA game. Four things jump out at me:
1. Michigan must have been mistaken about the tipoff time as they only scored 19 points in the 1st half!
2. G'town only attempted four FTs and Michigan a mere 10.
3. The two teams only committed 13 total fouls in the entire game, and G'town's Austin Freeman had four of them!
4. The two teams attempted 36 3-ptrs.

The reputation of the Big Ten has always been for physical play and certainly G'town of the Big East shares that.
I find it amazing that this game was so cleanly played.
Perhaps the big lead dictated the play with G'town working the clock and then settling for outside shots and Michigan shooting threes in an attempt to score points quickly.

On the other hand, perhaps the POE on reducing rough play is starting to take hold.
