was. Until he made "Nothing But Trouble". OMG, what a horrible movie. "Fletch" was probably his last good project. "Fletch 2" wasn't great, but it grows on you. "Memoirs of an Invisible Man" was better than I expected, but not one that I'd watch more than once. "Three Amigos"? Eh, a couple of funny moments, but not really a very good movie. At least we have "Fletch". Now go get me some ball bearings.
