Deeja vu , I came out of a meeting where a 35yo software professional making $10,000 a month for 120 hours argued for ten minutes that he had "read" 11 pages of text. Each page was only half full at best. He could not repeat a single line.

Read = viewed = glimpsed = flashed like a MTV video in three second sequences = software pros meaning of the word "read". We thought he was being an asshat but he really believed he "read" the pages.. Perfect for the matchlike attetntion you rightfuly claim.
