When I was trying to get involved in officiating I had no idea what was needed. The info I read said "shiny solid black shoes", thus I bought Patent leather. I have gotten a lot of positive comments by other officials. Even my children wanted a pair.
So by accident I have patent and they are growing on me. I always thought Patent leather was for women's shoes....
