I'm surprised you didn't post the picture from York, Nebraska, High's first game of the season. Kid came out with a sledge hammer during the team intros, looking like Paul Bunyun swinging, in a very stupidly lame attempt to intimidate the other team. It was ridiculous. I asked a friend who was at the game if the officials did anything. He said, no, they just chuckled because they seemed to think it was downright idiotic.

As for your picture...it does seem a bit outlandish, but if there's nothing in the rules prohibiting it, and he's not using it to try and hurt the opponent, then I would leave it alone. I think he's probably trying to intimidate the opponents, but in my opinion, someone who has to use a prop like that to do so is probably the worse athlete on the team intellectually and mentally. :-X
