That's because when Ron Darling played, the play at second was what the runner was supposed to do and no interference was called.
This year alone we have had 3 Intentional Interfernce calls and as I mentioned above I cannot remember the last time in MLB Intentional Interference was called.
We will wait and see if this is addressed after this year.
