NFHS has partnered with another company to provide all of the sports officials testing online. I believe that it is only rolling out to a few states this year.
Here in AZ, football and volleyball officials had to take their tests online this year. 50 questions, all true-false. Still the same crappy questions that have appeared on past exams.
My understanding is that there is a database of about 1000 questions and each official that logs into the testing site gets a random set of 50. From all of the
VB officials that I have spoken with since the testing closed last week, it seems that we all got about 5 of the same questions, and a sampling of others. It also allows you an allotted amount of time to complete the test, for us it was 6 hours. So you can do ten questions, take a break, do 10 more, come back and finish the next day, whatever...the clock is only running while you are signed into the test.
