I found an article in the Washington Post's website about Kwame Brown's rookie season. I'm not a Kwame Brown fan, not even a Wizard's fan. But the story was very very interesting. I don't often think about what a 19-year-old boy knows about shopping, and clothes, and paying bills, etc.
I also was never a very big fan of Doug Collins, but the story shows some real depth to him in dealing with his players which never comes out on TV or in most magazine articles. The story about Brown's "practice from hell" is terrific.
