She came up to me. I don't usually "chat" with my partner. Next game different partner and didn't say a word to him after the coin toss until the end of the game.

Tournament director was Dot Richardson, and all I did was mark in the scorebook that a protest had been made at the tournament UIC direction.

You are correct in the sense that even though it was civil I should not have let them talk about it. Once it crossed out of civil I moved the game along with three sentences.I still have a lot to learn and welcome all ideas and comments. This wasn't called the "bad" for no reason as I am sure there was a better way to handle this.
I just never thought Io would see that from a 10U team......
