Dave is one of my best friends, but he'd probably tell you that this wasn't a big deal. It wasn't even close
I was just sorry he didn't get the championship plate. After working probably over a 100 to 150 games with Dave the past 5 seasons, I'm confident he was the best choice. They didn't ask me, though.
I'm glad he's home, though, cause I need my regular line judge on Friday night. He calms me down when the white hat starts turning into a red a$$.
