A few days ago, a friend asked me what was the most number of games I ever worked in a single day. I did a little schedule research and found that two years ago, I worked nine kids rec games in a single day (all boys). I started with four straight 6th grade seven-minute quarter games beginning at 8:15 am, had a lunch break, worked three middle school 10 minute running quarter games for another league in the afternoon and finished up with two 20 minute running half games for a varsity level tournament that night. I got home after 11:00 pm.
This was on a Saturday. The next day, I slept pretty much all day.
What was your busiest day?
BTW - if I remember correctly (and there's certainly no precedence for that), I gave out a total of 10 Ts that day - averaging over one per game. That's well below my average. I must have been really tired.
