The ASA book 7-6-d says: the batter is out if the entire foot is on the ground outside of the box when contacting the ball with the bat. When a slapper runs up the box and contacts the ball with her front foot in the air, thats OK. That's when we hear "atta da box blu". I hope that is what you were asking. Anyone else have an opinion?
