Based your own statements, you're wanting to do this even when you don't have "definite knowledge" of how much time it is. If you haven't seen the clock, how can you claim to have "definite knowledge?" Oh, that's right, you're willing to make a
calculated estimate. If you don't see the clock, you don't have definite knowlege.
